Rates & Availability

Rates

  • Student on-site tutoring is available for grade 4-12 & post-secondary students at $65 for a 45 minute lesson, and an hourly rate of $75/hour. Students may pre-pay four 45 minute lessons for $220.
  • Seniors on-site support and tutoring is $75/hour with a minimum charge of 1 hour.
  • Home and Small-Business on-site support and tutoring is $85/hour with a minimum charge of 1 hour.
  • Corporate On-site support and training is $125/hour with a minimum charge of 1 hour.
  • Telephone, screen-shared support, and off-site support is available at $75/hour, has a 30 minute minimum and will be rounded up in 15 minute increments.

Payment

  • Cash or cheque are acceptable forms of payment.
  • All Invoices are payable on completion of services.
  • Please make cheques payable to "Mac Zen Consulting".

Estimates

At your request, an estimate will be provided to complete the task required. Wherever possible, extenuating circumstances will be advised upon and a new estimate to complete provided.

Availability

I am currently available by appointment Sunday through Thursday 9am through 9pm, and Friday & Saturday 9am through 5pm. Where possible I will try and accommodate you at short notice.

Service Area

Mac Zen provides on-site service to the entire Capital Regiional District. Outside of Victoria, Oak Bay, Esquimalt,and Saanich, an additional half an hour travel time will be added to your invoice. Please see the map boundary to the right.

Terms of Service

  • Mac Zen reserves the right to charge a 50% cancellation fee with less than 24 hours notice.
  • Please make sure that you have original discs and serial numbers available prior to an in-home visit or remote support session. If you do not have original discs and serial numbers that belong to you, it may not be possible to rectify problems you are having with your machine. I will not install, source or provide duplicated serial numbers for paid software.
  • Whenever possible, it is highly advisable to maintain a reliable backup of your data. Some on-site tasks require that a backup be available. Mac Zen will not accept liability for any system maintenance performed without a complete backup. I reserve the right to backup critical data prior to performing any maintenance on your equipment, and will bill for time accordingly.
